    Dr. Ariyan developed the microsurgical service at Yale over 20 years ago. He is experienced in the microsurgical techniques, whether for the salvage of amputated limbs, or for the rapid reconstruction of wounds in one stage after trauma or elective surgical resections. These developments have decreased the number of surgical procedures for reconstruction, shortened the hospital stays, and improved the quality of life. AII these advances have translated to lower hospital costs and earlier return to work.
