This procedure, also known as mastopexy, is the third most commonly requested cosmetic surgery of the breasts. Often, the procedure is performed to recontour the breasts after they have become saggy after a woman has given birth to a child, or after she has lost a significant amount of weight.

The breast lift is achieved by the surgical removal of excess skin, through several incisions around the lower portions of the breast, under the breast fold, and around the nipple.

This operation is commonly performed by Dr. Ariyan under general anesthesia in the outpatient setting. Following surgery, you will be awakening in the recovery room before being discharged to your home or to a medical hotel room.
